A Sicilian dish, this original salad was traditionally used as a starter. Today it is usually used a main course, for a healthier and lighter meal.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 oranges
- 16 walnuts
- 250g of mixed salad
- vinegar
- pepper
- extra virgin olive oil
PREPARATION
- Open the nuts and chop the kernels coarsely
- Peel the oranges, cut them into slices divided into pieces and place over the salad along with the nuts
- Season with 2 oil spoons, a tablespoon of wine vinegar (balsamic vinegar is even better) and salt
- Stir gently and serve with freshly ground pepper
